Default my parents rules are not fair.

shouldnt a person way over 18 have the choice whether he wants to go to church or not?

according to my parents no. my mom just tried waking me up and said "do you want to go to service right now with us or shall i set the timer for you to wake up so you can go at 10:30?"

WTF is that ****?????!!? and its every ****ing week too she says this.

normally her rule is since im still in HS i have to go to church for part of my school.

ok my parents are turbo-christian and it sucks. so i have bible class as part of my school. cause im homeschooled. so i understand that i would have to go to church for my school but i said this morning that once im outta school (in june) i can go whether i want to or not. and she says "no you have to go as long as you live under my roof."

everyone i know except a few turbochristian friends, well more like old friends i dont hang out with hardly ever, has the choice if they want to go or not.

and its not the fact that i dont want to be religious, its cause i dont want to wake up, i dont want to waste my gas going there, i dont want to talk to anyone there cause i hardly go anyways so i dont want people questionoing me on my life and other **** ya know. plus it would mean i could stay out as late as i want on saturday night. but no since church is in the morning i have a curfew of like 12. but i always get home at 1 anyway.

most kids reject church because mommy and daddy forced it on them so much.

also church is no place for kids to begin with, its place for discussion of philosophy and ideology.

You should be going to wednesday night youth with all the little innocent 17 year old hottiesssssss

oh that reminds me sx, i WOULD go to youthgroup buuuuuut......

about 2 years ago, since our church is ****ing poor, we had to "let go" of one of the pastors...so of course all the youth wanted the childrens pastor gone and keep the youth pastor cause he was tight. hecka cool.

but nope they got rid of our youth pastor. and our youthgroup was big too. well big for our church. it was like 50% kids that go to our church and like 50% kids just go for fun cause it was tight. sometimes youth groups are mostly kids from the church. so since they got rid of the youth pastor, they tried getting some volunteers/other pastors to "help" with youth. it was always a bigass fail. youthgroup died, no one really went, it was boring. so recently they tried getting it going again so i went, but there was like 6 of us.

gay. so youthgroup in our church has officially died. i would go to other ones like this bigass one called powerhouse at the sister-church of ours, but i hate crowds. im shy and dont like big groups of people. another reaosn why i dont like church. too many people. and if i go, then i demand a seat furthest back row or against the wall cause i always feel like anyone behind me is looking at me. so im always nervous too.

Only time I went to church was first grade when I went to a private catholic school. They make you go during school on certain days ect. Other than that the only time I've been to a church is for wedding and such.
