Oh, and we have a place called Char Grill too which is no questions asked an absolute must stop if you're in the area. They are like an old school hamburger stand and I honestly don't know which is better, Chargrill or Cookout. It's hard to beat a "huge cheddar style" burger at Cookout though. Dammit, I'm freakin hungry now.

ORIGINAL: Lord Ashram In n Out > Cookout, tho MAN I miss Cookout something fierce now that I am back up north. I remember very clearly being sick as a dog, pulling over every two blocks to throw up, but STILL making it to Cookout for my two damn bacon cheese burgers. And I'll tell you what, those cured me! Hahaha, yeah, they are that good. I dunno though, I've known a few people who have had both and said Cookout and Chargrill are both better than In-n-out. They said In-n-out's patties are thin and fries suck. I guess I need to go to CA sometime myself so I can see what I think.

Think of it as very cheap rent. a couple of hours a week, and a few dollars worth of gas. even if you use $10 worth of gas to go to church, thats only $40 a month. you will never find an apartment for that, especially one with a washer/dryer, food supplied, electricity, phone service, a free computer, internet, etc...................... you have it easy, and can spend money on what you want and not have to struggle to get what you need. Real life is a lot rougher that having to spend a couple of hours doing something when you would rather sleep. Most days my hubby leaves for work before sunup, and doesnt finish working til after dark. I am sure a lot of the time he would rather sleep, but he has responsibilities. He doesnt complain about having to get up. He knows it the right thing to do so he does it. I get up at 5 or 5:30 every morning to cook, clean, and get the kids off to school, clean more, cut the grass, cook dinner, etc....My day doesnt end til about 8pm every night. As you grow up, you will have to do a lot of things you dont want to do, but you do them because you are a responsible adult. I also think you take your parents for granted. If you grow into a responsible adult, and if you have kids, you will see that there is no love stronger than the love of a parent. I love my hubby an unbelievable amount, but its nothing compared to the love I feel for my kids. I dont care who you think loves you, I am willing to bet your parents love you more. I bet there were days when your mom wanted to do something other than homeschool you, there probably were days when she felt to bad to get out of bed, but she loved you enough to do the responsible thing, and do what she had commited to. When you have a child, that child comes first. Always. She has probably given up her freedom for the last 18 years to do what was best for you. Cant you give her a couple of hours a week???????? My parents are dead. I would give up everything I own to be able to go to church with them one more time. So, give your mom a hug, and be glad you have her, and know that she loves you more than anybody esle on this earth could. dont resent her.
