what about people like myself who have free periods, were not gonna waste our time at school

most people's schools are within 5 miles of their house, most peoples offices are within 20, why not just make people take a bus to work

I removed your personal attacks so people can actually see your stance. You are forgetting that school is the government and they can do as they damn well please like it or not this law could become a reality for some states. I lived 2 miles from my school and I rode the bus. Its on the way to school so pickup up kids that live close is NOT wasted expenditure.

Yes extra buses will be added but not a FLEET. I think however there are to many loopholes for this to actually be enforced. The best the school can do is deny parking.

OP, go suck a cock, i live 3 miles from school, no way in hell im going to take the ****ing bus

think of all the EXTRA gas wasted because all schools need like 3 or 4 more school busses to get kids to school, your an idiot

See...more crying, i dont know why your replying to me about taking a bus. The bus wasnt in my list of recommendations, you sir are the idiot.

3 or 4 buses that carry 30 kids each (90 - 120 kids), in theory that would eliminate alot of cars... talk about wasting gas, moron.

But like i said before, if you'd bother to read my previous posts, i dont support the idea.

It takes me 20 - 35 minutes to drive to school.  (depending on traffic)  That means I get up at 6, leave at 7, and get to school around 7:30.  When I rode the bus, i had to get up at 5:00 so that i could make the bus, which passed my house at 6.  Spending an hour and a half on a bus is retarded.  Theres no way to enforce this law, anyways.

College students don't have a tax dollar paid bus that stops for them in front of their door like high school students have.

My busstop was 1.7 miles from my door from grade 6 to grade 12 (although I started driving my senior year). School said they didn't have to come get me unless it was 2+miles

Starting this fall there should be a Federal law requiring all highschool students to take the bus to and from school.

Why should all of those extra gallons of gas be wasted, causing more demand, so they can look "cool."  Hard working parents have to pay more for that wastefulness to get the gas they need in order to get to and from work.

thats not how the supply/demand works... as long as there is a demand the prices can be set however they want because they know the hard working parent still has to pay gas. the only way to really solve to gas price problem is to get rid of the demand for gasoline and demand some other fuel source. who knows what that will be

Why are you bitching about gas prices while driving a GT, you hypocritical idiot, thats as bad as a priest getting a B.J. on the alter, why should others who deserve to use our oil supply as much as you do have to give up thier liberties as a american citizen just so that you can enjoy the convienience of lower gas prices for your guzzler. Suck it up like the rest of us and shut up, or go trade in the GT for a moped and save all the money you want.

I appreciate the fact that lawmakers are trying to help the environment, but there's no way that a ridiculous law like that could be enforced. And there are plenty of school systems that don't provide a bus service. Then there are kids who attend private schools...what about them? Personally, I looked forward to getting my license and driving my car to school...taking that away from kids would be cruel lol. I'm sure that there are other ways to solve any gas issues that we have.

First off, im not "bitching about gas prices. show me where i blatantly put comment where im "bitching about gas prices".
Secondly, congratulations on believing everything you see on the internet, tool. I not longer have a GT, i just havnt found it so important to change out my favorite sig.

why should others who deserve to use our oil supply as much as you do have to give up thier liberties as a american citizen just so that you can enjoy the convienience of lower gas prices for your guzzler.

...even if i was worried about gas prices rising right now, i think not just myself, but everyone would like to have some extra money in thier pockets for whatever reason. Lack of money can sure put a limit on trying to enjoy some of those "liberties" you speak of.

Suck it up like the rest of us and shut up, or go trade in the GT for a moped and save all the money you want.

oooooh...so why should someone "have to give up thier liberties as a american citizen just so that you can enjoy" not reading thier opinions that you have control of viewing, hypocrite?

So is it wrong that I take a helicopter for a 30 minute roundtrip flight just to buy a flat of Monster Energy drinks when I'm offshore?

I work in petroleum every single day. If people saw how much money is spent and how much stuff is consumed just in oil exploration you'd see where it can add up. Unfortunately though, anytime the government regulates something it gets even more out of hand due to all the liberals that HAVE to have a hand in it. Just pray that we end up with a government run oil company like Mexico, Qatar, Brazil and a few other countries. Take the "bottom-line" issues out of anything and it becomes better for the little people and those are the ones that are hurt the most.

AM I THE ONLY ONE TO NOTICE THAT OIL, AS IN 5W20, HAS NOT HAD AN INCREASE IN PRICE IN 6 YEARS?
