I installed some new side stripes today. I feel that these are alot more aggressive than the previous stripes I had. I ordered these from Baltimore Steet Mods and installed them in about 4 hours. You can choose the wording on the stripes, and I chose "BOSS 245".
Let me know what you think of my new stripe!

It looks good. Did you have a hard time getting them to lay flat on the car. Because I know when I did my hood it took forever.

That side stripe looks sharp (no pun intended) :D

And did you have to take the pony emblem off to put the stripes on?

Thanks for the compliments. I did not have any problems getting these stripes to lay down. Each stripe came in two pieces. The thicker part that goes downwards is one piece, and the stripe that goes across the door is another. Smaller pieces are much easier to lay down. This wasn't the 9 hour ordeal that my 12" stripes were! It was also easier than the previous side stripes I had that went the length of the car.

Yes, I did have to remove the fender pony emblems. I used fishing line behind it to cut through the tape adhesives. I bought an automotive cement adhesive, made for trim pieces, to put them back on.

I was thinking maybe black, but possibly outlining the sides and pointed portion with another color such as silver. What do you think?

Black alone would look good. Silver would be incorporating another color into your mix.. but it would sort of match your rims. I still think black by itself.

Yeah, I guess I could always add my own pinstripe later if I want more color. Im definitely gonna do the stripe soon now that i've seen it on your PW stang. I've been debating the hood stripe and the shaker as well.

That's not bad at all, I wonder how they would look in black with my door stripes and CF hood...hmm...Also around how long do you think it'd take me to install? I've never done stripes of any kind before so? Oh and are they the Roush 427R Tribute Sidestripes for $70? Thanks a lot.

Well, if you're getting this stripe, I'd take off the door stripes. One or the other, but not both. These would look killer in black with a CF hood! Yes-- the Roush 427R tributes.

It would take you about 4-5 hours to complete this. Not too hard at all-- just takes patience working out the bubbles, and lining things up properly.

Navy blue. The medium blue, or Ford blue from Baltimorestreetmods.comlooks too light for some reason.
