It looks sort of cheap.  Reminds me of that cheap "chrome" tape that you see in discount store auto sections that goes on the lower half of some trucks.

i'm kinda stuck...basically why i haven't done anything too drastic yet...kinda wanted racing stripes, but everyone has em, plus i'm not really diggin installing them (i could paint em i guess - i can do that), so then i thought i could not do stripes, or do the wide hood ones, and do the chrome rear panel, just cuz i want more chrome, but don't wann over-do it.....hmmm, need to see more MGs that aren't overly pimped lol

it is made of hard plastic though, just like the black and honeycomb ones, but is chrome...addin more plastic to a plastic and beer can metal car

If you want more chrome, get some chrome wheels!  I think the black honeycomb insert looks really good.  I'd get it if I didn't already have stripes.

You're right--alot of people on this website have stripes, but when you're out there on your roads in your town-- you're one of a kind.  I rarely see one in my city with stripes.

The chrome panel looks tacky IMO. A black blackout panel will look good with the chrome tail-light bezels. Others have done it and it looks just fine. If you really want my unbiased opinion I would say ditch the chrome tail-light bezels altogether and black the rear out completely. As much as I love chrome, some things just look better with black instead.

would, but dont have black grilles or anything else in black...plus i'm doin my best to go 66 shelby lookin with this lil pony .....it was just a thought of something to blow money on...think so far, i need exhaust, antenna, maybe 3rd brake light trim, and then the BIG maybe of stripes, and WAY down the road, retro mirrors  should do intake/tune in there sometime as well

I seriously doubt drivers behind you would appreciate their headlights reflecting back at them. It just looks tacky to me.

Mike,
Do you have a pic of your car with the 3d Carbon chin with the stock rockers? Or did you already have the GT take off before the chin?

I may go with that chin but paint it to match a stock rockers.

Looks like it would be illegal since the sun could reflect in the drivers eyes behind you.
It's different, but not my cup of tea.
