I would look into getting them powder-coated. I can't imagine regular paint, if that is what you were planning, will hold up over time. I am not trying to be a buzz-kill, but wouldn't want to see you go through the trouble of painting and watch them get chipped because of road debris, or paint did not "grab" wheel properly. I would try the Photoshop thing and get an idea of what it would look like.

yea, i will be using dupli-color high performance wheel coating, its mad to last all that, a number of people on the forum have done it and they are 2 years strong with no chipping or problems with the painted rims. Some1 please photoshop this for me! i have a 04 white GT

Put up a pic of the wheel you want to paint, and I will give it a shot. I don't have Photoshop®, but can use Microsoft Paint as I am pretty good, but we'll see [:)]

Well, I loaded the pic into Paint and took a look. The existing silver is SOOOOOOO close to the white of car, it is not worth the effort to chop it. You should be able to easily tell if you want a white lip from the pic that you have.
