So I took my 1994 Mustang GT (with the Mach 460 system) in to my local Visions Electronics to get my new deck installed and was told it would take about an hour. About 2 hours later the installation guy comes out and cryptically asks me if my deck worked before I brought it in. I tell him "Ya, worked fine, its just old and an eyesore so I want it replaced." He nods, tells me it 'll be another 30 minutes and then goes back into the shop. Half an hour later I check in again and the installation manager comes out and asks me if the bass worked before I brought it in, again I say "Ya, it worked okay." He then proceeds to tell me that I no longer get any bass, tweeters and midrange are fine mind you, but no bass whatsoever. The last I heard from him before I left after waiting 3 hours was that he was "guessing" that it was a problem with the amp. My question is what is the problem, this ever happened to anyone else before?
Cliff notes: After a deck install I no longer get any bass output, why is this happening?

I have been here way too long to not have a wicked sig.
ttocs will have the exact info you need. And you need to go into wherever you came from, and say guess what your going to fix the problem, and not charge me anything for the install because I had to go out on my own to help out you "experts" to do what I was paying you to do.
He has a write up that shows exactly what to do, look at it this way, your helping them out so that the next time someone comes in with the same car, they never have to go through this again. They can take a $30 hit for this kind of information.
Bombs away Scott.
Sorry im just lazy and he knows exactly where the info is on his domain page. He will find this thread and probably be the next post.
wow, that is 4 this month I think.... It would be great if SOMEBODY had admin rights to make a sticky................
print page 2 of my cardomain page. There are a couple of little things that they are missing that are kicking their but. Also be sure to tell the that you can remove the subwoofer turn on pop by putting a 1.5k ohm resistor on the remote turn on wire.
and tell your shop the only fee for this info is that they need to sign my guestbook, and say thankyou....... I know that page is gonna end up in the bottom drawer of a tool box, they can at least say thanks......
