I've have homosexual friends in the past and still do. I have nothing against them in anyway but this year was the 1st time I lived with a gay man. My cool roommate moved out and this homosexual dude moved in.

He is a VERY stereo typical gay guy. talks with a girly voice , reads girly magazines and watches Sex in the City. What puzzles me is how can he actually enjoy things that are directed towards women. He doesn't get a period , he cant get pregnant , no boobs , not even long hair. Im not sure what he is getting out of women's fashion magazines when he doesn't wear dresses.

I feel like he and MOST gay men do what they do because its socially expected of them. My bisexual friend whom acts perfectly straight says he doesn't understand men that act that way either.

When my roommate sneezes or talking in his sleep he has a deep man voice , not his conscious girly high pitched voice. and to top it all off he is a damn anthropologist!

So the discussion of this post is how can gay men truly relate to female targeted media.

hmmm...lots of gay friends....lived with a gay guy....close enough to hear him talking in his sleep......hmmm...i'm gonna go ahead and assume youre gay...why not just tell us straight up?

but in response to your query about your *cough*friend*cough*...well why not look at chick mags? i like to thumb through those nature mags and daydream bout far off lands....i'm no savage livin in a rainforest but i like to look...same goes for your lover....sorry...your friend...i'm sure he just likes to look at the pictures..are you concerned he may not be truly gay?

I have wondered the same thing. I agree, I believe they believe that it's socially expected of them so they have gone about being this stereotypical gay guy for so long they they have completely brainwashed themselves to being just that. (Hence the normal voice during sleep).

in todays world it seems like the gay guys wanna shout it from the rooftops that they like man ass....maybe that comes from years of hiding it..who knows? maybe thats one of the reasons he reads that ****...cause he wants people to see him reading it and know hes gay...if he really loses the fairy voice as he sleeps (still wondering why youre close enough to hear a guy talk in his sleep) then that means the whole persona is an act...thats pretty screwed up....thats my huge problem with this gay movement thats sweeping the nation these days...how did we as a people get so screwed up that its trendy to be gay but uncool to be girl crazy? when a whole country accepts homos like that harry potter kid getting naked on a broadway stage but goes up in arms when janet jackson shows her breast...
