just be safe and wear a helmet!

I hate guys that go around in their GSXR's doing 50 in a 35 zone with the helmet hanging on the side...

wtf?

Great choice!  My roomate has an 06 and I've taken it out a few times.  Very nice bike, the only thing that took a little getting use to is how thin the bike is.  I really like how the seat grips you though, I slide all around on my 600RR.

The bike also has a lot more of a linear power band then most bikes it's size and it defently has a better torque band(or torque at all I should say)

I know what you mean, I've actually kicked some dickheads car because he was trying to run me off the road. I'm not sure what his problem was, it seems like people think just because you're on a sport bike you must be doing something stupid.

I was coming down an enterance ramp doing like 60mph and trying to merge and this guy wouldn't move over and he was like trying to match my speed and the lane was ending quick.  So I kicked his fender and took off.

Agreed my 06 seriously doesn't move until about 8k rpms the daytona pulls the whole way to redline.

My roomate picked up a pipe, tuner and sprocket last year and now the bike is just a machine and it also sounds amazing.  Plus it's cool because he can tune it himself or download tunes other people have made up.

did he say "i bought a new bike to save gas money!"

no he didnt, he was simply saying that instead of driving his cavalier daily *he called it a gas saver instead of a DD like everyone else, oh no!* that he can now ride his bike and still leave the stang parked...gtfo

nice bike.

I agree with mx07gt

what would be a good starter bike?  the way gas is going I wouldnt mind picking up a used one somewhere...

could always get  bike for my graduation gift to myself instead of a 347 or a TKO
