Since I got my car (07 pony pkg manual vert) back in July Ive tinkered around with it a bit. 3M'd the hood, Tinted the windows ,,, then a FRPP axleback, then a rear blackout panel and got rid of the ginormous antena, then painted the calipers black, then put on hood struts so i could get rid of that stick , then a chin spoiler,, now Ive bought a X-charger and 3.73's and a locker. ( Im still waiting for them to get here) .
When I first got my car I thought it was perfect, then I noticed some stuff I would like to change, then I found this place and all you Mustang degererates. My point is all of you people keep giving me ideas that spin around in my pea brain till I come up wth something else to do to my car. Im sure after a summer of burning tires off with a supercharged 6 banger I will find a bunch more stuff to do over the winter. Dont get me wrong,, its fun but someone asked me at work today why I didnt just buy a GT/500 and I had to honestly say " I dont know"
This is kinda fun tho,,,, kinda like being a crack head i guess but without all the bad side effects.

I am looking for a C&L... how long until you are installing your x-charger?
well im picking up the locker and ring and pinion tomorrow ,,, EE had some issues with backwards MAF sensors so the huffer kit is under a bit of a delay , Im thinkin may long up here in canada ( may 19th) for the install. At that time the CnL will be like 3 months old and have about 2000 miles on it.

It never ends. I lose sleep thinking about all the things I want to "fix" on my car. I get so tied up thinking about mods, I sometimes worry that I'm neglecting normal maintainence issues that cars have. Just don't let the mod bug effect your family life, and you will be fine.
.....don't forget scheduled maintainence tasks.

Just sing this line to them next time "I DID IT MY WAY" Part of the fun of a V6 IMO is the joy of turning it into what I want it to be Not Ford. I could be wrong but I think the aftermarket Companies (the part made for both V6 and V8) are glad we are spending soooo much of our hard earned money on stuff too. So when you’re done you have your own Signature Car. Kind of makes you want to sign the top of the car like in NASCAR

+1.....i think of it in a similar way also. yes i could have got a GT but it wasnt in my budget at the time and now i get to pick and choose what i like and what i want to upgrade. its my car, my way. just like the sinatra line yellowtang mentioned. people, dont fool yourselves....if you had a GT, you would be modding that also and people would ask, why didnt you get the GT500? haha, thats life. enjoy your personal custom stangs!!!
