You will be happy with the fit and and quality of the hood from Cervini. There was not a whole lot of prep work involved with it before painting. I couldn't be happier with it and so far there are not too many mustangs running around with it.
I have bought from them before and thats what I love about there stuff. I had the other hood on order but it was back ordered so I told them to cancel my order and they told me they would give me a discount on the cowl and I said YES!

Forget that... you did get the cowl hood. Congrats!
>>>I would suggest that GT500 cowl hood... damn that thing is sweet. I might be doing that in the future when everyone else on the forum gets the KR hood too >>>haha. As for preping.... ya mine needed a TON of prep work. Even when they thought it was done once it was painted they found more and have to redo it.
>>>Well here are some shots

I'm all for personalizing your cars, but why do knock-offs? I would not clone a GT500, I would buy a real one. I bet a lot of people that actually know what you've done will offer up "Nice car" and think "can't afford a real one". No different than someone wearing a knock-off Rolex.....what's the point?
I can sort of see the knock off old muscle cars, as they are so few and far between. But I would never do that either (I just sold a real SS396 Chevelle that had all the needed documentation).
I say be proud of what you have and do things to it that make it "yours" and don't just copy a more expensive car.

its not that we are knocking off a more expensive car. I like the look of the frontend way better then any aftermarket front out there. Most people cant even tell the differance between the gt and the gt500, I have people ask me all the time is that the cobra. if they are not in the mustang crowd then all they see is a cool fixed up mustang...

If you think my car looks like a GT500 you need glasses. A bumper is not cloning. Body panels, wheels, emblems, etc....then were talking about cloning. The GT500 bumper is the original design on the S197 prototype. It looks better to me, so I got one.
I am not trying to impress anyone or fool anyone into thinking it's some other car. It's my car, and I want it to look how I want it to look. Hell, my car has no Ford or Mustang or GT logos or emblems ANYWHERE on it anymore.
