Not sure what happened with CD-2 over the past year or so, seems the only place to find it was a particular internet site that sold it for $9.99 a can. At one point I thought Justin was working on carrying it but I didn't see it on his site so I feel confortable sharing my find. I stopped in an Autozone down here in Lexington, KY today and they had a shelf full of it at only $4.99 So naturally I bought (5) cans of it to last me a good while Hopefully its not a regional thing and its available everywhere. Now get out there and raid those Autozone shelves
yeah, the autozone here in eastern NC carries it for about that price. i was confused when i saw it because i had heard that it was only availiable online.

Btw, that price is cheap as heck Jason!
Yes it is....I asked the lady if they had a case in backstock that I could buy. They did not, but she said I was welcome to buy all 13 cans off the shelf, but I figure 5 will last a few seasons and I didn't really want to be a CD-2 Whore
That's some good news. I'm going to have go raid my Autozone this weekend. Dan, CD-2 is an amazing engine detailing product. I used it once a year ago and have not been able to really track some down at a decent price till this news. Jason has some more recent experience with it though that may be more helpful with a decscription.
one local store had always carried it and the other local one stopped which i thought was wierd but the manager told me that if they ever stopped stocking it that he could get as much as i wanted for 5.99

Dan04 - have you ever heard or seen the trick of spraying your engine with Tire Foam? It looks fantastic....gives everything that wet/shiney look, and if your engine is really clean (properly degreased prior) before coating it, then it will look better than the day it rolled off the show floor. But Tire Foam is greasy and attracts more dust & grime so it doesn't work well on daily drivers, unless you feel like wiping it all down frequently.
CD-2 does the same thing, but it is made for engines so it bakes on as you drive, thus is not as greasy and does not build up as much dust & grime. I usually coat my engine with it 4-5 times a season and it keeps it looking new.
I will be posting some pics (maybe later tonight) of my boss' Mazda Miata that I just spent nearly 8 hours on doing a complete 4-step, interior & engine bay detail. The engine bay was VERY grimey because it had never been cleaned in its 8 year, 32k mile life. After using Engine Bright to degrease it and blowing it all dry with the air comp., the engine bay looks better than the day it was built
I'll try to get 'em posted tonight so you can see what CD-2 can do for the engine bay.
