thermoactuator ?

I have recently pulled my 302 engin in my 83 5.0... upon cleaning diffrent componets on it and replacing others. I noticed part of my emmision system that had a crack in it.. it is a thermoactuator... Ford dosent make em anymore and no dealership has them... I have been to several scrap yards looking for a replacement. With no luck. Dose anyone know of where i can get one that is the same.. Orwill anotherone from a diffrent year work... im not able to put a picture of it up at this time but i have the part number e1se-9f491-f4a

Do you mean thermactor, as in thermactor pump....... as in smog pump? If so you can get a smog pump from Autozone for under $50 but if you have it apart already leave it off and capp off the lines and delete it with a new belt. The year is a 83, only requires a safety inspection, no emissions.

forgive me im a little slow... it dosent have to pass the sniffer on a smog... just pass a safty visual.. little confused
