Default Adjusting saleen bypass valve

I was reading around and found that the saleen blower's low speed bypass valve can be adjusted. Has anyone done this? I would think that by adjusting it, i would be able to get into boost sooner. I dont know alot about it yet but am curious to see how it would affect things.

Default RE: Adjusting saleen bypass valve

I would say don't touch it. Saleen states they install the stop bolt and the pump actuator during assembly. There is a small butterfly valve that needs to be exactly flat to not let air in or out. Do yourself a favor and don't move anything. If you want more power drop a pulley. I had a nightmare on that whole deal when I took my stop bolt out. Do a search for stop bolt or my name and you will find a bunch of my problems.
