Default 3.8 knocks but not all the time

replaced coil pack wires and plugs but still knocks!
it runs at 800 rpm but knocks every so often maybe 10 knocks in a minute or so
an ideas? but if you pull off the 6th cylinder it doesn't knock at all any seggestions on this 1998

seafoam it. and replace the PCV valve. if that doesn't stop the knock then it's not detonation. my 98 never knocked even leaned out on the blower
