IMHO, it's in a similar boat to the GT500...pretty fantastic car, but could have been F'ing amazing if they'd kept the weight down. Ford and Nissan HAD to give them both copious amounts of power to compete. I'd be a terrible GT500 owner....1st thing I'd do is see what parts I could yank/replace to drop a couple hundred #'s....

The GT-R is kind of fugly. They should have just stuck with the 1999 R34 body. One of my favorites to this day.
