Hey guys I am planning to go dual on my 2006 v6 but I cant decide which system..I have the flowmaster American Thunder axle back on there right now and i love the way it sounds so my first plan was to just buy the driver side American Thunder and get the rest of the system from PYPES total of about $500, or for a little over a $100 more i could get the FRPP duals what do you guys think?

Get the Ford Racing system.  Includes everything and you can bolt it up yourself.  Plus, IMO its the best sounding complete kit you can buy for the money.

The FRPP kit does have everything you need. I installed everything myself and cut my own bumper (if you are comfortable doing it). It comes with these aluminum type exhaust guards (what I call them anyhow). I suggest that you sand down the area you cut anyhow to get a nice smooth cut. Use templates.

Sounds great, looks great, may stick out a little far for some people's taste but you can always fix that no prob.

The FRPP#M5230V6 is the way to go. Made by Ford for the V6 Mustang so everything fits perfect and it sounds great. Its also fairly easy to install.

I say get the FRPP, I have been happy with it.  Despite Flowmaster's huge reputation, they just don't sound too spectacular on our sixers.

I wouldn't say that.

Here some some dual Flows on a v6 that sound pretty awesome

And my pre-dual setup was a single Flowmaster AT, and it was a very nice sounding muffler for a V6.  Deep and aggressive.

Sounds good, not doubt. But I suspect that it sounds deep and aggressive more because of the H-pipe than the dual Flows. Without the H-pipe, I would imagine that it would sound more like this:

The FRPP's are probably a bit quieter than the Flows.  Some people actually think the FRPPs are too quiet when compared with some of the other aftermarket axlebacks.  It's really up to you man, just remember that youtube videos just don't quite sound the same as real-life.

This is the video that made me go for the Flows but with a little twist-- I went with the Super 44s.

Flow's

I don't like the way they sound, go with the FRPP you will definitely be happy.

Here is a thread with audio clips.

How much HP gain would there be with a FRPP set up?

I am also looking into getting dual exhaust for my V6. :-)
