RE: Blonde in need of wheel advice - 5/1/2008 9:24:06 AM    Norm Peterson Posts: 1264 Joined: 2/26/2007 From: Delaware Twp, NJ Status: offline IMO, 20's are a little outsize on that chassis.  Appearance-wise, they'll make stock brakes look sort of puny, and cost-wise it'll be more difficult to bring the whole set in for under the $2k I saw earlier (assuming that you want to run tires that are at least comparable to the wheels, $100 no-names need not apply). In 18" you'll have a more subtle change in the car's appearance relative to what I think was optional back then, and FWIW there will be better tires available down the road from the performance point of view in 18" than will be left in 17's. RE: Blonde in need of wheel advice - 5/8/2008 9:14:38 AM    hotproperty94   Posts: 12 Joined: 2/26/2008 Status: offline My objective is to find quality wheels from a reputable company.  If my intentions were to seek bragging rights, I would just buy the most expensive wheel I could find, but that would not necessarily deliver me quality.  I did look at one of the "killers" at my wheel shop and they are way too thin (too much brake pad etc showing)....so my search continues.  I promise to pull the trigger this week, and I won't bother all of you about it!  I've heard of Konig and I think I have looked at what they have to offer, but I will check them out.  Thanks for the suggestion!
