Got a ticket today

so i was at school and i just took my tail lights off, cause my friend was buffing them and i back my car up into a spot. and there is about 12 spots there, most for teachers. but some students can park there. anyway, i guess a couple days ago they put a sign up that says campus vehicle only  in two of the spots, and i didn't notice it. and my car was only there for about 5 minutes. so someone from the school called the county sheriff and he gave me a $50 ticket. not a warning a ticket. i think its just stupid that the just put the sign up and start giving $50 tickets and not at least warning first. should i go to court to fight it?

its washtenaw community college. you would think that the campus police would give the parking tickets not actual cops.

that reminds me...a cop almost FUKKED my world up today. i was goin about 100 down space center and i passed a cop going the other way, he flashed his lights at me and i almost shat myself, then i noticed there was an ambulance a few blocks behind him w/ lights and sirens going and i realized that the cop and ems were responding to a call and that was the only thing keeping me from going to jail...yeah ide take a $50 ticket over that anyday. just pay it and forget about it, the more u try to fight it the more money u will loose.

Yea, how can a sheriff give a ticket? It'd private property, the campus rent-a-cops should be the ones penalizing you for something like that...

yeah i not going to park down there again. that reminds me, this morning on my way to school, i was doing 70 in the slow lane and a state cop pulls up next to me, and i look over and he gives me a thumbs up, and then speeds off. thought that was pretty cool.

yeah i don't know how the sheriff can ticket on the campus. you would think it would just be a $10 ticket to the school or something.

normally its those dumbass campus police handing out those tickets and you just have to go in front of the dumbass student board and say f**k you i'm not paying it (but logically and with manners) and they will drop it

yeah i got a $40 ticket for parking in 2 spots[8|](my tires were on the white lines) by the campus cop

ive got 42 parking tickets from the university of houston, im not b.s.ing i REALLY HAVE gotten 42...i never bought a permitt and i never paid any of the tickets...but they are campus tickets not PD tickets so it doesnt count for sh!t.

how would you possibly win this court case?  the fact is that you parked where you aren't allowed to park, and you got a ticket for it.
