Default Need a little help

i just got a 93 gt that was swapped to a svo motor.. turbo is blown needs rebuilding... is it worth the time and money to build the motor and put boost to it again or just throw a 5.0 in???

If the turbo is blown, simply get a rebuild kit and do it yourself, or send it away to get it done professionally. You shouldn't need to rebuild the entire motor just because the turbo crapped out on you.

Stick with the 2.3 turbo, there is a place called blaastperformance in qubec that rebuilds turbos for $150

wouldnt i have to build the motor up so it can handle the boost again since its been off for a little while or what??

I guess I don't really understand the question. You have a 2.3T motor in your car. The turbo failed, the car is sitting, correct? Simply rebuild the turbo, put it back on, start driving your car. It isn't like the ability to handle boost just goes away because the turbo isn't there.
