Some of you guys have some dumb theories. The bullet most likely hit the car first or even if it didn't the angle of your head can deflect bullets.

The guy that said a 9mm may not penetrate multiple clothing is crazy. The 9mm has more penetrating power than the 45. The smaller size of the bullet lets it penetrate deeper but doesn't cause as much damage. The 9 tends to go through and even break bone and keep going. the 45 is a larger round that tends to drag tissue with it b/c it is larger cal. and is fired at less feet per second than the 9mm.

this is true.

Jesus christ. This doesn't violate any physical law
now if it had turned into a flower when it hit her head, then yeah, it would be crazy, but this doesn't dissagree with physics at all

LOL......always amuses me to see some of the ideas that come out of this group.

Yes, 9mm is higher velocity and has better penetration than the .45  I have and shoot a .44mag regularly and it is an awesome round, BUT, bullet performance can be goofy with any round. There are a lot more powerful handgun rounds out there now.....454, .460, .480, .500 to mention a few. It's kind of like the horsepower trend these days.....more is better

Well, first, these are some of the people who are saying these things so quaintly, as if they are experts in the field. It sounds, when they say "this violates physics", like they are the utmost authority on physics, when they most likely didn't even pass their first year. Not only does this not go against quantum mechanics, quantum field theory, string theory, special or general relativity, or any other theory that I can think of (all of which are experimentally proven), and yet somehow it's still supposed to "violate physics?"

The part that is so distressing is that more and more people are starting to say these things, almost as if the stupidity is spreading in a matter of speaking (this doesn't mean I'm calling the people who do say this stupid, but what they are saying is stupid). It is almost like in the movie "Billy Madison", towards the end of the movie, when adam sandlar gives his speach on the puppy that lost it's way, and the foreperson says "everyone in the room is now stupider because having listened to what you just said".

I honestly pray that these people do not believe, intuitively that this violates physical law, as that would only be another indication of the downward spiral that this nations intelligence level is taking, and these simple comments on physics, and the laws that incorperate the natural universe, and the way it works almost makes the figureative torpedo of stupidity accelerate faster, to the bottom, at which is a level of retardation reserved only for the most useless "members" of society and their "theories"

These people are literally decreasing every one elses intelligence by convincing others that what they say is close to something resembling the truth.

For all of you who think you know physics and want to comment on it, unless you have specific citations in any of the theories of quantum physics or general relativity, don't open you'r mouth. (figureatively of course, I mean literally not to type out what you think to be the truth)

lol 2000AZ5.0GT calm down, yes i know it doesnt break the laws of physics its not like this hasnt happened before. but still i doubt a .50 A&E bullet will fragment enough before it punches a hole through a skull, but hey it could happen. If i truely wanted to kill someone i would do it with a sniper rifel somethin like a .308 or .30-06 doesnt even have to be that a .223 will do just fine. If the DC sniper only killed 1 person they could have gotten away with it.
