I have an 05 Satin Silver stang and I can't decide between the black bullitts or the chromes. I'm going with 18x9s.

I like them both but blacks are cheaper.

Heres what it looks like now:

Should I go for a look like this?

Or do you think all chromes would look better?

I'm feeling that look with the blacks, and the shelby CS6 front fascia, billet grille, and black racing stripes. I might head in that direction if you guys agree.

Black looks great, but I'm a little biased. :)

Im a huge fan of chrome rims but I think the black bullitts would stand out more and look better on your car.

I like black rims over chrome but I think it depends on what you want to do with the stang...if you are going to go with that look of that other stang and add some black stripes then black would look badass thats for sure

I have a silver stang too.  I too was having the same dilema, but I decided on Chrome.  It will blend with silver better and make your car stand out and would look even better with a chrome billet grill and fuel door.  Everyone seems to go with black anyhow.  On a side note have you looked into Black Chrome?  That would pretty hot on silver also!

Hard to argue with an owner of a silver mustang. OhioUSMC - got any pics to post? IMO I would think it's too much silver/chrome, but it would help to see how it actually looks.

Yeah thats pretty much the look I want to go to. Right now I'm leaning towards the blacks.

I'm going to check out some other rims too besides bullitts, because everybody has bullitts. Even though they do look awesome

Yea I hear what others are saying here if you were to leave the appearance pretty safe meaning not doing anything drastic like stripes or something then chrome would work but if going to get black stripes then black would look awesome.  Amort a set of black rims that I really like and will get maybe in the fall is the black shelby razors.  They are pretty expensive but not many have the black set.  Lots of people have the gunmetal but from what I have seen black is less common and looks awesome.

Yeah man, i agree. Do you guys think it would still look fine if I got the blacks and didn't get the racing stripes for a while? I was planning on buying other things before the stripes.

Also, I was planning on getting the ones from Americanmuscle.com, has anybody else ordered the black bullitts from there?

I would go chrome.

Just because Ive always thought you should see a car as a whole, not one part.
I think black would draw your eyes to the wheels and not the whole car.

Depends on what you want I guess, bur for example. The other day at the store we had a guy with a Porsche Boxster Vert. Same colors as my stang , tungsten body, black guts and roof. The brake calipers were red and thats all i saw.

My buddy has his BB off his Shelby for sale a lot cheaper than you'd get through AM. Here is the link to his Craigslist post:

i like chrome better....but IMO black bullitts would look cool and you wouldn't hafta do the stripes and all that jazz...it used to be really popular to have the black rims with polished rings...sleeper look back in the day...

Oh yes, I want those! Too bad I'm not close to Phoenix and in his post it says pick them up there

Does anybody know how much shipping would be for 4 wheels and tires?
