I think it's a pretty sweet deal for a mere $185k.  F430 performance for the price of a 360 Modena.  I think Ferrari might feel it in the wallet once it hits the market.  Plus you might actually be able to modify and work on it yourself, unlike its Italian counterparts.  The only thing I don't like is the "Raptor" part.  Why not just leave it at the S5S?

I rather save some more money and get the F430.

Abbas,
If all you do is complain about your Saleen to everyone, you should probably sell it, save your pennies and try to buy the F430

Mea Culpa Chuck! I must have been on (mental) vacation that week...

Actually I like the looks of it and far prefer it to the Chinese roller-skate-looking car we feared he'd be making. However, as a fan of the classic lines of our cars, dollar for dollar I'd take mine (or better yet, YOURS) any day. I do think S5S is a stupid model number, tho.

Also we girls have a secret suspicion that men who drive cars that look like that are attempting to compensate for falling "short" (ahem) in other areas...     Whereas men who drive classic-looking muscle cars know they are super-sufficient in all areas.

That car is sick! 650 hp, 200+mph and a 10 second quarter mile for under $200K is not bad! Yea I know the new Z06 is close to that but definitely not as exclusive and good looking. I think this is a great new market Saleen has entered with this vehicle...If only I had money....one of those in black would look rediculous!

I wasnt complaining about my Saleen. I was saying that if I had $180k to spend, I would rather buy a Ferrari. There is a reason why the F430 has a 2 year waiting list. Also you have to admit that Saleens DO NOT have a good re-sale value.

I'll give you that Abbas.  I once dated this girl who's dad owned 2 Ferrari dealerships (yes, he had an Enzo) and the 430 was by far his favorite care to drive.

lol Jazzer I've already had this discussion on here before.  She was nucking futs and didn't bring a whole lot to the table in the looks department.

Lemme guess... you're Brad Pitt's twin?

Hey Jazzer, didya consider maybe she dumped him? Guys who say things like the above are often the dumpees, in my experience.

No....no....no

When the GIRL dumps the guy, it is because he WANTED her to so she would have better self-esteem and retain the respect of her friends

Jazzer feelin' it today, but when Amy gets through with him, will be "feeling" something else

Nah, just chicks before guys who act like dicks. Actually, pretty much anyone before guys who act like dicks.

Jazzer, allow me to let you in on a secret: a woman can often reach her goal by allowing a man to think it was his idea.

Thanks for being such a good sport, Josh. You know it's all in fun and I love ya more than my luggage. Or better yet, more than the car cover I paid $175 for and have never used....
