Jestaar -> Paint vs Vinyl stripes (4/22/2008 4:58:23 PM)
I have a friend that does custom flames and stripes on cars. He said he'd take off the vinyl and paint the stripes on my 07 Roush. Any pros or cons to doing this? Only thing I can think of is if he messes it up. lol

Pros- more durable, can't feel the flame/stripes if done right, can make different fade effects Cons- more chance at screwing up, if somebody else does it it is more expensive

Painted > Vinyl
You don't ever have to worry about it wearing out like some vinyl will. Also it looks a lot cleaner up close.
