Ok, need some opinions.
Just got done doing the front grilles, chin spoiler, rear side markers and wheels /tires. Windows are already tinted. So what next, appearance wise?

I am thinking of the side window louvres, not sure which style though, Roush or the ones at Hubcaps. On the other hand I really like the dark tinted side windows as they are. Ponder, ponder???
http://wheelskin.com/dg-3180.html

Also the MRT Interceptor rear window louvre has gotten my attention lately. The dilema is I'm not sure how that would look on my silver car? And what side louvres, if any, would look best with the MRT rear louvre? Or is that idea better left alone for black cars? Another ponder???
http://wheelskin.com/mrt-3002.html

Or lastly, should I just leave it as is? Or are there any other options out there that may look good? Don't want it to end up looking out of porportion with big bulky items, but don't want it to look wimpy either.

That's where you all come in... I need some input from the Mustang Gods /Goddesses.

Here's a pic of what I have to work with:

GT takeoff rockers from ninosport.com. Replaces the factory black ones with ones that match the body. It gives it a better look and makes it look similar to a GT. Oh and also continue the stripes all the way down in the back and all the way down in the front, even on the bumpers. And yeah go with quarter window louvers, but I'm not sure which ones. And I wouldn't get the rear window louvers, but thats just me.

Also, check my sig, matching stangs!! (almost...)

I think either lose the stripes or get thicker ones that cover the bumpers, add GT rockers and some 18" wheels.

Dunno about the louvers, I dont recall seeing any on silver mustangs. With quarter window louvers I think you need something on the hood to balance it out (scoop, new hood etc.)
Some black rear window louvers could be sweet though.

Guess I should have mentioned originally, I really didn't want to do the GT side skirts, that was why I got the chin painted black, so they would match. As for the stripes, I don't want to replace them. I have considered taking them off, but they were on the car when I got it. When I first saw the car at the dealers website it had no stripes, but a week later it did, so I drove to the big city to investigate and ended up bringing it home. Not sure if they were hiding something and I really don't want a big (and bad) suprise if I take them off. The stripes btw are 10" wide.
I do kind of agree about balance though, louvres & scoop. That's why I figured I'd ask on here. I don't know about the back window louvre, I like it because it looks good on the black cars I've seen on the forum, but on Silver? Might look out of proportion?

AMoRT: here's an idea, since we match, you go get a bunch of stuff for your car, so I can see what it looks like, then I can copy the parts I like!!! What hood scoop you got there? That didn't come standard on 05 v6ers

the sides look kinda plain cuz it's all silver with no stripe on the bottom, so i'd put on the GT/CS side scoops, probably go with quarter window scoops, or leave em alone...think i'm going to put the chrome around mine, but not on silver...and i'd paint those bullets black...you could do an emblem on your fender - try and limit the colors though - pry chrome and black to continue the grayscale theme...like a 4.0 HP emblem maybe...idk i always wanted a stang without the side stripes, but now that i have one with a stripe, i think they look too plain without it

Do something to the sides. Pony fender emblems, side stripes, side scoops, GT rockers, etc etc.

not sure about the rear louvers not a big fan but don't think you need new side skirts bc of what you said bc it does already match...you said you thought about removing the stripes well what about extending them?? As far as quarter louvers I am a big fan of the SHR louvers not sure if I have seen them on silver yet but I really like them

What tint do you have right now?

Yeah I've pretty much got it all planned out. Every part, price, and where to buy it. I made an Excel spreadsheet of it all. Man, I'm obsessed. The only problem is that I seem to have misplaced my funding.... But I'll be sure to show you when I get new stuff.

And about the hood scoop, I don't know exactly which one it is, but I bought the car used and it was on there when I got it. It's purely cosmetic, has no function but to look good. But I like it a lot, it adds a nice look in my opinion.

I decided I'm going to go with 18" black deep dish Bullitt wheels, GT takeoff rockers, Shelby CS6 front fascia, and possibly black racing stripes. Oh yeah and the quarter window louvers. C&L intake, Diablo Predator Tuner, FRPP Dual exhaust. Then later down the road I plan on getting a Procharger or a Vortech Supercharger.

This is my first car, so I'm really happy about it. I'm going to work long and hard hours to get about 8 grand... which is what I need for all that. Well I better get workin'.

I have a silver stang too and it is really hard to plan out appearance mods for the color and I too have been obessing over my mod plans!  It is so addicting once you realize the aftermarket for the car is so huge and you have so much to chose from.  I decided less is better on modding the appearance with my silver stang though.  I am going for a stock like look with simple appearance mods:  18inch chrome bullitts, gt rockers, gt front bumber w/custom fitted v6 pony package grill, body color mirror covers, clear corners and side markers, pony emblems, dark tint, no window louvers (I personally can't stand the 1980ish looking vented ones and don't get me started on the rear window one, blah), GT 500 spoiler, and chrome shorty antenna/window spray noozles/fuel door.  I might, might at some point get BOSS style stripes and the only other thing I am having a hard time pondering is the street scene blackout panel.  I am really turning most of my focus to the drivetrain and handling side of the house.  But, to each their own and that is what makes customizing your stang so fun!

I got my factory painted rockers from directfordparts.com for $37.99.....$42.00 shipped.  I highly recommend them if you are thinking of doing this mod.  Ninosport....lists them at $119.00

I have Windveil blue, so these rockers were pretty difficult for me to find.

here is the link if you are interested.

^^^ I don't want the painted rockers, but did check the link out of curiosity, just to see what it was, and it ended up in an area highlighted as "body side moulding". I think that link is actually for the "rental stripe" / door moulding that everyone pulls off, not for rockers!! If he ordered them, I think he may be in for a BIG suprise!!
