Default acceleration

hey, i have having some acceleration problems, my car just doesnt have much umphh untill it hits 30 - 40. any reasons why it would be doing this and what i can do to fix it ? <IMG src=smileys/smiley19.gif border="0">

try a tune up and check your timing

i am starting to think its the plugs n wires. are there any plugs and wires that perform better than others ?

bunbches and bunches. i would stick with the stock replacement plugs and go with some accel 8.8 wires. or the ford motorsport wires are also a good choice.
