So this is slightly off topic, but not really....(it's a plug for a fellow member)

So a couple of you may remember Viper/Saleen from the forums here. Brant (woooosh) bought his Saleen extreme #59 a year ago.

I guess he's selling his viper too because it's listed at Performance Autosport. If anyone needs a viper that is beautifully maintained take a look at this one. I got to drive it while we were down there looking at the extreme....fun ride! He believes in driving these cars (30k miles)...but takes extraordinary care of them.

http://www.performanceautosport.com/detail.asp?car=6060

Just wanted to wish him good luck if he's still around here. Absolutely unbelievably nice guy that takes good care of his cars.

And for anyone that may have doubted he had a viper AND a saleen.....here's the viper!   (drool...)

I just  went and looked at that car on the website. Very nice car. and the Miles are reasonable and considering what folks have said about the owner it looks to have been very well taken care of. if I didnt need a back seat and had an extra few K laying around I'd be intereted. Anyone know why he is selling it?  Nice car good luck with the sale.

Not sure why he was selling. He sold the Extreme to help his kid go to medical school. It could just be an extension of that. I also know he was a real estate appraiser. Maybe business has been slow because of the downturn...?

He always liked the viper better than the extreme (which I can completely understand after driving it versus an extreme). Hopefully he's just selling it to get another toy.

I love the ROUSH....but looking at the Viper it just makes the leg go straight  . A buddy bought a Viper (Night Runner) truck while we were deployed. ONLY 400 of them were made during '06. HOLY S*** I keep telling him I want his ride

Get a Roush Viper... best of both worlds.

Front bumber sure looks like a road warrior, but then again he does claim its a car that gets enjoyed and not in a bubble   Not sure if its in his price range, but I have a buddy that is selling vette to fund a Viper, I will pass this along.
