not really sure if this would go in the detailing section or where, but the leather on my steering wheel has seen better days.  all the leather is cracked and just looks ugly.  anyone know where i can get a good leather wrap that actually looks like it belongs in there?  i dont want to have to buy a whole new steering wheel for it.

grab a leather wheelskin and stitch it yourself...not sure exactly what vendor though

yeah...thats what i wanted to do. i have seen leather ones that you have to stich, but i cant remember where i saw them.  and does anyone know if you can take the old wrap off to put the new one on?

You put the wheelskin wrap right over the old one. You don`t want to mess with the spongy material under the original cover. I believe that stuff is molded to the wheel at the factory. I put one on my `87 `Vette about three years ago. Still looks great.

i can also vouch for the good quality of these. Stitching is a bit stressful but worth it
