OK, ODDYSEY gave me a great idea in another thread to paint the inside of my rims since my mod fund is low(thanks odyssey!) So a member(thanks 2k1gt) did a photoshop of my car with green and black. Looking for opinions. Do you like the green or the black, or, well neither? Also, if I did paint them, what would be the best paint to get, Thanks!
LOL, I know, but the mod fund is empty, and the wife says SHE is the next mod, LOL. So, I am looking for some low cost mods just to dress up the car till my mod jar is full again.
Some Pony fender emblems would work great since you already got the classic louvered and side striped look. Or GT rocker panels to finish off the look.

Go with the black - it gives them a 1966 Shelby feel and is a big improvement over stock.
I'd like to see how it goes for you. I picked up a set of those same wheels for my drag radials and was thinking I'd like to change the grey inside spokes to black to go with my black bullitts that I run up front at the track.

For a Low Dollar mod I wold go for the 1/4 inch 3M crome around the grill lip to give it that Bullit look. I know people do not like the stock rims but I find them to be nice looking as is. They get bashed alot but till you got the bucks to get new, leave them as is. Link to a nice 15 dollar mod by member dmark http://www.mustangforums.com/m_4764312/tm.htm

Black, if you must mod.
I washed, clayed, polished, waxed and sealed my entire car on Saturday (wheels included) (10 hours)...then pulled into a gas station to fill up......
My stock wheels got complimented 2 times. Once going into the gas station, once coming out. It was sunny on Saturday here in VA, my stock wheels were BLINDING after I clayed and machine polished them.
I was kind of offended that I spent all that time on my paint......and did the wheels as an afterthought.....then got complimented on the wheels but not the paint.
I'm planning some Centerline wheels in the future. But my stockers will be good for now.
