Saw another post here today bitching about AutoStoned parts houses and I had to vent a little also.

I go to the parts house get my oil, filter and odds and ends. Probably about 50-60 dollars worth. There is another couple of guys in there also and they have just about as much to buy.

There is ONE GUY! running the whole damned parts counter and cash register. There are a couple of other apes stocking, cleaning, phucking off etc. but only one on the counter.

I get to the registerand heanswersthe phone and starts looking up some part number for a 1985 Getoutandpush.Totally ignoring me.I waited for about 4 or 5 minutes with these other guys in front of the empty cash register. 1 guy behind me puts down his basket and walks out in disgust. I needed the stuff and to run across town to the other parts house would cost time & gas so I chill for another couple of minutes. Then the asshat on the phone starts BULL****TING with the guy about living in Central Florida, still ignoring us.

That ripped it. I had 6 quarts of oil, 2 filters on the counter. I slap the counter to get his attention and HE TURNS HIS BACK TO US!

"Oh **** this!" I say loud enough for the whole store to hear and rake every bit of that schitt off onto the floor and walk out.

Now I remember why I don't go there. It is worth the extra hassle to go to the independently owned store.

thats probably exactly what i would have done...**** waiting for inconsiderate dead-end job having bull**** parts salesmen. if theyre gonna have a couple workers jacking eachother off and cleaning up might as well give them something to do when they finish up. thats why i only go to vato zone for crap that doesnt require the employees to know anything for me to buy.

I love the auto parts plus in regina. Great service and since my cousin works there (and my fathers company has a credit) all my parts are half price or cheaper:D

Went to an Autozone one time to get brake pads and the only guy working was in a wheel chair. I asked for the pads and he said that they were to high to reach. So I offered to go behind the counter and get them and he said NO!!! So I said F it and left.
I now no longer shop there. I'm glad the dude has a job but damn Sorry but you can't buy em cause I can't reach em.
Autozone sucks!!!!
