The 2006-2007 Saleen S281 comes with 20" rims as standard or as a factory option how does it look bad?
I wonder what kind of effect closing the factory door from vertical on the motor for the window....do lambo's have special engineering to compensate for slaming the door vertically?

Dude. I have NO idea whatsoever who you are, shoot I dont even know if you drive a stick or auto lol but if I can ask one thing of you in this life, it's NOT TO GET LAMBORGHINI DOORS. Pleeease dont get lambo doors. Oh god. Did the Shelby GT500 have lambo doors? How about any of the nice old muscle cars? If you must mod the doors, get shaved door handles. AHHH those things are sick, I want em sooo bad but Im saving up for a blower. But anyways thats all I ask of you in life my fellow mustang owner, thats all.

I know im late on this and all but why would you get lambo doors, that cost $1500 before getting something that's like actually kool like a sound system, or tint, or A FANCY AZZ ALARM WITH A REMOTE THAT TELLS YOU WHATS HAPPENIG WITH YOUR CAR? Like viper or this other brand. I mean yeah sure you might have insurance but once that happens bam, you're back to square one. You should get all the little things out of the way first like 1. alarm 2.tint 3. exhuast. 4.sound system. 5. performace mods(i.e. air intake and stuff) 6. exterior(chrome, euro head/rear lights, decals,vertical doors). Thats how I've been doing it, it's worth a shot.
i had this big argument with everybody that i could not build my own.... and about 10 hours and 45 dollars later i had this... and then decided it was cool and all but i personally didnt want to extend the wires worrying about people slamming them and i didnt wanna buy the shocks... but i learned a lot and it was a good waste of time!
I think lambo doors are cool as hell. But, a lot of people on here will scream rice right at the thought of it.
I've heard you can encounter leaks with them and it's annoying to open the doors that way. I guess it's up to you, but I would do your research for pros and cons first.
I disagree..so if you change your stock 16 inch rims to say 18 or 19 inch which the shelby gt500 uses(19) than it is rice...I know you said 20's but the fact that you upgraded and changed something on a mustang implies that it is rice which it is not. The supercars you mentioned have lambo's yes but if I change the reg doors on the stang to lambo doors than it is rice ...I think not! Oh check the pics in the gallery I suppose you think my 06 GT is rice as it has a bodykit and 20's. Oh and the gt500 and cobra badges make it something it is not but the car is soon to have 500HP and will truly represent something the car is.. a fast, unique, mustang representing the vision I had for it. I started with a 06 GT and will end up with my dream mustang that is far from rice and will have the numbers and track times to prove it! I know we are all entitled to our opinions but sometimes I think people should think before they write. JMO

they sure do make it something its not....why would you put em on if it isnt one? that makes no since. even if it had more hp and was faster than a cobra that doesnt justify putting cobra badges on it. its your car so you can do what you want but i will laugh when you try to race a real gt500.
I disagree again... I mean if you change anything on a car (performance,appearance) than that makes it something it is not which is not stock or came from the factory as an option. The aftermarket group is so big and each year there is a show called SEMA that shows all makes and models of ccars that are something they are not with the mods that they have put on the car?! By this I mean you are changing the performance and appearance of the original car! So am I wrong for saying that anything you have done to your car in the aftermarket world to any part of the car it is something it is not! If I were to race a GT500 at the track I will email you and pay for the ticket to get here to see the race and than we can see who is laughing after that.....agree? Just two differing opinions I guess. I suppose there are alot of "something it is not" cars out there winning races and car shows and nothing is original (which makes it something it is not). I am making the car the way I want it and the way I envision it. I am sure the mustang community can relate to that -that is why these cars are "modded", "changed", "transformed", "turned into" something they are not! You get my point or not! JMO J
