yeah, ive been feeling those all the way over here in reno.

but seriously...the past week weve had about 10 earthquakes...none bigger than a 3.0 though. lots of activity recently. a lot more than normal.

I'm too far away to feel it, but I dont like it when the earth moves

You guys crack me up. Around here if we DON'T feel an earthqauke regularly you notice it.

Only 397 earthqaukes in the last week.

To me, it just the idea of the earth moving and possibly destroying stuff. That just seems so wrong. The ground isnt suposed to shift, I dont care why it happens.

I guess it just bothers me because on the map if found thru google, my house is sitting right on a orange line.

I live in a town that sits between the San Andreas and the Garlock(only like 10 mi from the Garlock at most), the 2 biggest faults in California. And we're maybe 5-10 miles from the White Wolf, which leveled this town in 1952. Oh well, duck and cover.

At least with a tornado or hurricane you have some chance to see it coming and get out of the way. You ain't running from an earthqauke.

For those of you in the mid west, you can go there and report what you felt for the earthqauke, the USGS uses it to determine magnitude and damage.
