about the guy who suggested the small corner mount sub box.. dont even waste your money, it will sound like ****..
if you want your sub to sound good.. prepare to make your OWN box, or pay to get one made, and dont expect it to be "compact" in ANYWAY or it wont sound good at all..
so if your not willing to sacrifice half of your trunk, just buy cheap ass subs

Before you get on some high horse of ignorance, you are 100% wrong.
Large enclosures sound worse. They get louder, but do not quickly manage the change in pressure in the box due to the cone of the woofer's excursion. A small sealed enclosure is what nearly every SQ uses, and I have never seen an SQ install with a ported enclosure.
FACT: A ported box gets louder and sounds worse, a small sealed enclosure provides "tighter, cleaner" bass and will sound better.
Also, if you buy a prefab corner mount box, are you not paying someone to build the enclosure for you like you recommended.
Let me rephrase... don't buy a cheap pre-made box.. make one to the specifications of your subwoofer manufacturer.

Nope, you are still wrong and just as much of a moron... a ported box always will sound worse then a proper sealed enclosure. It is physics, not an opinion.
your welcome to hang around and contribute as long as it is something posative. There is alot of good knowledge here that we simply pass out for free..... We have been having an issue with people that have alot of energy that is just not properly focused. I have tried to be nice to people to guide them in the correct direction when they are astray but found that didn't work. As you know it is pretty hard to get banned from here so I know that I am far far away from that point myself. Just trying to make it a better place for everyone mang......
