Does anyone know if there are any (front) mud flaps that would fit a 2007 Saleen? Lots of companies make them for 2007 Mustangs, but I worry about the Saleen body kit interfering with them...

Jeez, I'd take 'em off for car shows!

Took delivery of Saleen: April, 2007. Current mileage: 10,115.

Remember the fancy paint? Those front wheels do throw up stones. Ask me how I know. This car gets driven; it's not some garage queen. Yes, things happen to cars out in Reality Land, but if I can help just a little bit...

Yeah, you can touch up your rock chips with a can of Krylon. Not hard to match white, is it?

Ah, but Liztick Red, you see...it's mixed by elves in the deepest dark, and costs

One.
Million.
Dollars.

...for a 1/2 pint touchup can.

Yeah, you have it simple, boy. You can't appreciate the pain us rich people with our fancy paint jobs have to live with (sniff)

dramsey, how 'bout clear protective film, as used on Ferraris, Porsches, and other cars that cost almost as much as a pint of Lizstick?  I used the stuff on a Carerra S and the (low!) front bumper was chip free 30k miles later...

Here are a couple links for more info, it can be installed by a pro or DIY:

Only 3800 miles here and I am already seeing some chips in the side skirts on the flap part just behind the tires (where mud flaps would mount).

I've never found any, but I am planning to fab my own out of plexi and then painting them mineral grey to match....in your case you'd probably have to go black unless you can get them to provide some paint.

As for mounting, I've seen people mount them with office style fold over clips and they stay on.  If mine turn out looking decent I may just mount them with 3M Adhesive and leave them - if not then I will use some sort of removeable clips so I wouldn't offend the Jazzer out at a show

You can get the mud flaps at the same place that has the curb feelers.

.....although I would never call them "mud flaps", I'm thinking more along the lines of Pirelli Projectile Deflectors

Points on Polk!

Good god- just say no to mud flaps. Those are up there with fuzzy dice, curb feelers, and LED lights on the windshield wipers of a performance car.

Spend the cash..buy the 3m protective film.

It works. My friend uses it on his Z06, also a daily driver. He got the front clip, side rockers, and rear rockers done for 600.00.

His last car was a Porsche boxer and he had the same application done- 40,000 miles later he peeled it off and had no chips or gouges in the paint.

Do it or be forever branded a dork.
