Hmm, i like that one with the LED Readout. The way i want to mount my subs in my trunk is

-----crossover
amp--block---amp
-----crossover

in my spare tire spot, mount it flush and put a peice of plexiglass overtop with a cutout outlining the equipment (and some fans)

can i trust ones on ebay? radioshack doesnt seem to have them, ill check the local audio store but ill most likely get raped $$ wise

Get yourself a cheap 1/0 kit from wooferetc, buy a ditro block and then go get the 4 guage amp kit from wal mart. It will be cheaper then buying everything in one kit.

Alright, well i ordered the ms6a and the nine.2 today since i sent them an email about upgrading to a nine.2x, but they said they could but dont recomend it because it would overpower the speakers and cause damage to them...

also went on over to the local audio shop and they had an amp kit for 70$ that would be enough to power two amps. Also came with some rca cable for the speakers and remote wire.

it didnt half a distribution block though, the guy said i could connect the two wires or something of the sort. Am i better off going with a distribution block or doing what he said with the battery terminals? Also the kit only came with a 60amp fuse. How big of a fuse should i be looking for with a nine.2 and a nine.1?

A 60 amp fuse?  That's it?  What gauge (awg) is the kit for?  8 awg?  I would think it should be like 150 amp at least.  Anybody else pitch in on this?

I'm going to be running a nine.2 and nine.1 very soon and am going with 1/0 awg and a 200 amp fuse.

Personally, I like running one large wire and then a D-block instead of 2 smaller wires.

If that is what the shop told you, they just wanted your money. You can connect the wires any way you want, but if you use rings and a bolt, you have no way but electrical tape to insolate you from ground.

I would return that wiring kit and buy the following...

http://ikesound.com/product-product_id/7202   A full 1/0 kit like you need minus the RCA's for $55

And go buy some RCA's from wal mart or get a couple from ikesound.

You will come out at way ahead at the end!!!

he actually said the distribution block was more expensive than the three 1$ peices i needed, which is why he recommended not using it.

the kit was 4gauge

It honestly sounds to me like that guy wanted to take your money and find an excuse to sell you an undersized wiring kit at a very high price.

That kit I linked has everything but the rca's and includes the equipment it takes to do the job right.

I would return that 4 guage kit immediately, but I'm just trying to help you save money and get the right equipment.

Ill probably order that kit as well, thanks

A.) This isn't your thread.
B.) Don't be so fuggin lazy, it would take you 20 seconds to google this answer.
C.) 5x7/6x8 in your front and rear, 3.5" tweeters in your dash.

Why do people seriously think it's easier to come onto MF.com, start a new thread and sit here and wait for responses when it literally takes 20 seconds to google this answer...
