Define system codsackman.

do i have to be specific about everything in this section of the forum, a sound system. it consists of subwoofer/subwoofers, amp/amps, stereo(which you have... good job), speakers(oh you have those too), do i need to go into more detail for your small brain to understand,
or are you getting the picture?

The stock mach system has amps and drivers. And, oh man, a headunit.

Welcome to the world of retards.

You are the king over them all.

I guess I do have a 'system' don't I?

Owned and ruined.

what is your favorite sub/amp brand?
and how big of an amp do you think i would need to push the subs?

so does your car have a subwoofer sytem?  all you said earlier is that you have a aftermarket head unit.

and mattlowe01 was asking for advice on  subwoofers and amplifiers, trying to find out what was good for about 500.00 and i suggested from personal preference the sony system to start with and then go from there. for about 500.00 dollars. but he went with somthing else and it sounds like he got a damn good deal.

What is a subwoofer system? All I have is an aftermarker headunit, no kidding champ.

He asked for advice on a good sounding system, not garbage.

Therefore, when You reccomended crap, I pointed out Your products inferiorability to any product I have ever owned or reccomended for sale.

again it was a suggestion for somthing cheap to start with because it sounded like he's never had a subwoofer sys. before. and again have you ever heard the sony's in person, they do sound descent especially if you have'nt owned subs before.

Clipping is the term used to describe when the signal is larger than the electronics can handle and thus clips the "larger than possible" portions of the signal. A severly clipped signal is typically a signal wanting to go louder than the electronics can allow. A sine wave will have its tips clipped off and flattened. The more the tip is clipped, the worse and distorted the sound! In other words your killing ur subs.

I like many brands dd/cs/us amps/zapco/focal/stetsom/sundown/cdt/mmats/shocker/atomic along with many others but really all ull ever need is mentioned above.
Im sure your amp can run those subs so you should be fine with what you have.

You aren't listening.

You are being a nut swinging fan boy.

They aren't cheap for what they are.
They aren't good for the money; i.e. bang for the buck.
They aren't great sounding drivers.

I have owned many many many different brands and different sizes of subwoofers and amps.

I refuse to skank my cobra up with a large aftermarket 'system' as of right now.

not a big fan of sony, just saying the subs sounded descent. even if you think there crap your opinion not mine.

of the many many brands you've owned which do you prefer? and it looks like you figured out what a "system" is, awesome now i don't have to go into detail every time.

How can You call a person with superior knowledge to You in the audio field an idiot?

Let me spell this out for You.

In what situation do You want the brands I would choose?

An spl car?
A sq car?
A daily driver car?
A car with 5 grand in it?
A budget system?
An all out expensive system?
Or a ghetto rigged sony xplod system?
