A nine.2x will not match the impedence of the clearance 13Ov2's. They only lowered the price on the dual 4 ohm version and not the dual 2.

You would be much better off getting two of the clearance 130's and a b stock nine.1.

Type b Stock in the search box and you can get a nine.1 for i beleive $250.

wow. thanks a lot. saves my ass, lol

i went to buy the two 13ov.2's, transfered the money from savings to checking, paid with paypal and found out i have a paypal balance of 163 dollars. SCORE. Its like finding 163 one dollar bills on the ground, lol

is there a difference between the dual 2 and dual 4 voice coils?

So thats 700$ worth of equipment for 390$, not bad at all.

yea ones dual 2ohm and the other dual 4ohm <<< this only matters when picking an amp to run them. Neither is superior to the other. Each one just gives you different wiring options.

You would also really enjoy buying a bstock nine.2 and powering those comps I mentioned above. That will make a much larger difference to overall sound then just adding a sub. It also means you buy and install the wiring once.

Trust us when we tell you to do the whole thing. If my wife can tell the difference and wants full range hifi, you will too.

So iv decided on my final setup... It will be:

2 x 13Ov.2's
1 x Nine.1
1 x eDi 6000 v .2 (Eu-630 Tweeter (x2), Eu-630 Midrange (x2), X3 Crossover (x2))
1 x Nine.2

I have purchased the 13Ov2's and the Nine.1, will be purchasing the eDi 6000 next, and hopefully the nine.2 shortly thereafter.

Now, for the wiring. How much speaker cable do you think ill need and what guages? Also, I saw a bunch of amp wiring kits with fuses in them.. Do i need to run a fuse? Or do the eD amps have one built in?

Also... are all sound deadining stuff the same?

Quick question, with the eDi set, would i be better off using the 2 channel nine.2 or the 4 channel nine.4 to run the two tweeters and two comps? One channel per speaker, or one channel per two speakers? The nine.4 is only 10$ more..

1. YOU MUST RUN A FUSE!!!

2. Speaker wire gauge around 12-14 is more then enough for the comps and subs. You could even use 16 on the comps and get away with it, especially after the crossover.

3. Edead is OK sound deadening but if you live in a high heat area get something else, mine has fallen off over time and other brands will stick better.

I must run a fuse, okay.. Thanks, Ill have to stick one in there somewhere

should i go with the nine.2 or the nine.4 for the comp set?

also should i run the tweeters in the door, or put them in the dash? My dash has two 3.5 speakers in them already... but ones blown out. Should i put the tweeters where those speakers are? I was planning on disconnecting the 3.5's

for sound damping check out a newer brand called second skin.  I recently was able to get my hands on some and it is the best I have worked with yet...

Just a heads up, your going to run into a potential problem with the 6000's system trying to keep up with a pair of 13Ov2's.

I would go with their MLS6A + NINe.2 Package ($375), because the NINe.2 + 6000 system is about $350 anyway...

or something like...

CDT EF61FG's, on say a NINe.2x. You will need to save a tad more money up but it's well worth it. And if you feel like your front stage being extra sassy, CDT ES610's...

Looking at the CDT speakers, what warrants the 100$ difference between the 61fg's and the es610's?

also, cdt > dls?

DLS>Most CDT

The ES6110's are a botched together set. See if you can get them to upgrade you to the ES620's for $50 or get the EF-61FG's.

Both of those will blow the 6000i's out of the water.

Also, put the fuse within 12" of the battery.

Well the 610's are 300$ and the 61fg's are 200$

but the 620's are 400$

I dont think i can throw 400$ at a comp set right now, 200$ i can do, but 400$ is pushing it

So, should i go with the CDT EF-61FG's for 200$ and a bstock Nine.2 for a total of $365 or the DLS MS6A and a Nine.2 for $375

MS6A's > EF61FG's

The ES610's and the MS6A's... Thats tough, you won't be let down either way.

CDT's like power, but when you give it to them, they love it and really shine. DLS are strait up great all around, not as power hungry and still put out excellent sound.

I love both DLS and CDT, pretty much the only thing I would ever run in any of my cars.
