The Best thing that i can recommen for you to start is to get a intake.

i have a complete JLT cold air kit or the conversion kit for it to be ram air. complete with filter and hoses and clamps. it was on my car for 2000 miles till i decided to s/c it. i paid 220 for it i will take 125. i live in florida if you are local i wont have to ship it. shipping is 35.00 anywhere. its a great kit and you WILL feel the gains. if you want it or have any qustions call my cell at 407-562-6136.
