I read that the stripes will be an option for the car. Just like the original Shelbys.

If you order the stripes you do not get the words SHELBY in the back of the car.

If you don't order stripes you get the words SHELBY on the back.

I would order a black one without stripes! Anyone else?

That cant be true it might be an option for both but i dont thing they would do it like that doesnt make scence, They show it like that in the picture they should sell it that way

The picture is still a "concept car". At the NY Auto Show they said the car is 90% complete., but there will be a few changes.
Having stripes as an option is nothing new. You could have gotten a Viper GTS with or without stripes, thats if your willing to kick in another $10k more for the stripes on the Viper.

Just buy the car as is and stripe it yourself later.

They're probably gonna jack that price up a ton just to throw some stripes on it. I bet you could get them done much cheaper on your own.

Black with gold stripes. Not that i'll ever own a new Shelby GT500. I'm a big fan of the old GT350H, so when I pick up my black 05 GT I'll get the gold stripes added afterwards

I would not care if the shelby came with stripes or not because It would be so fast you wont be able to tell any ways as it blured past you on the highway its all about going fast I would buy it even if it just came in primer

still slower then the c6 z06 / viper srt10 if all reviews are correct thus far
