Since my Dad is awesome he brought home a moutain bike for me.  Price = Free!

Mongoose, 26inch, dual suspension, EFX ALUMINUM, POWERED BY SRAM, Blue, and silver.

This bike is awesome, it's almost brand new.  I think it's a guys bike, I didn't find it on the mongoose website.  I can't find much info on the bike at all.

Here is the only pic I could find online, it's small but it's what it looks like.

BTW: this bike has a good bit of money put into it.  I guess, I don't know much about biking.  It has those bags people wear around their gut.  It also has that board on the back to put stuff on, so I know this thing has some miles.

Can anyone point me in the price range of this bike, and what year maybe?  It's a high end mongoose.  (Not the kind you can buy at walmart)

-Peace

EDIT:

PACIFICCYCLE(Dealer)
model: R4572WM
date: Hc11jc

haha powered by SRAD...

meh it's a decent intro bike.  I had a Mongoose MX 8.5 with some nice components (basically that), but it didn't hold up too well on the trails...
so my Dad sold it and picked up a Bianchi King Bee

and left me mountain bike-less, so I picked up a Diamondback Response Sport.

If you want a good first mod, get disc brakes, they'll save you from spills on tight manuevering and steep downhills...

I wish I could see pics of the actual bike, that little photo shows me it has no fork travel in the front, and the rear derailleur

It has ELEMENT RACING on the front fork.  Yea, I don't have a camera phone, or a digi cam to take a photo.  (As you can see by the empty sig lol)

I checked again and it's SRAM lol.  My bad.

how long is the travel?  120mm is a really good setup, and SRAM is a standard part on most bikes, but they're really good so not to worry.

travel-the distance between normal to compressed of the shock.  AKA how much it goes up and down.

http://mountainbike.about.com/od/buyersguideandreviews/f/suspension_size.htm

go there.
