I'm combating an overheating problem in my 351c, trying to narrow down the possible issues. So far this is what I have replaced and diagnosed:

Flushed Coolant System, refilled with 50/50 + Redline Water Wetter
Aluminum Radiator
LS1 dual electric fans
Brass bypass plate is installed
New upper/lower hoses
Robert Shaw 351c themostat
New water pump (generic one from Kragen)
Head Gaskets installed in proper direction.


I ran across an old post at mustangsandmore.com talking about how some water pumps don't have the bypass ports drilled. At this point I'm convinced my problem is some obscure thing I'm just not aware of. Can anyone show/tell me what the correct bypass ports should look like in a 351c?
