All the comparisons to milk and water being more expensive are weak at best.
If I think milk or bottled water is too expensive, I can simply not buy it.
If I do choose to buy it, I don't need to buy 15-20 gallons at a time to fill up.
Gas is not optional. Alot of people don't work close enough to home to ride a bike or walk or take a bus.
Moving closer to work is not an option with the housing market in the toilet as well.
I complain about the prices but still buy it as I need it because I have no choice.
You hit the nail on the head If you think bottled water and milk are to expensive then do not buy them. If gas isTe expensive then buy a car that is cheap on Gas. if you want power fun good looking car then be prepaird to shell out some $$ cause nothing is going to change soon.

I agree with you on the bottled water thing. But the milk part I disagree with. What exactly are people supposed to feed their families with if they don't have things like milk, eggs, cereal, bread...etc.

Bus? Beater? Walk? Don't accelerate rapidly? (though it is oh so tempting to do so)
I cannot do the last one even when i try real real hard Even if it is just going to the store for Bottled water and a Gallon of Milk

Ha! Yeah I know. Even just pulling out from my house onto the main road I want to get to 60km/h quickly. Every day I decide to a drive, i give it about 1/2-3/4 throttle and I still end up laughing manically. Don't get me started about those big empty highway on ramps on a weekend afternoon.

the us is saving its gas until the other countries have depleated theirs, therefore the cards will be in our hands. i heard it from someone on here.
The enormous reserve in Saudi Arabia is apparently running low, I can't remember the name of that specific reserve, but it is gigantic and we've been draining it for decades I believe.
Once it runs dry, Alaska will be might tempting...
