Yeah so I just wanted to vent a little. I just got a reckless ticket by a b*tch cop over some dumb ****. I really think it should be a not following traffic sign kinda thing, but here it goes. So its a beutiful day here in Northern Virginia Im cruisin with the top down, the exhaust sounds just right, I look to my right and I see a female officer at a traffic light waiting to get on the main street that I am driving on. I keep driving and I get into a left turn lane, there is a car infront of me and the light turns yellow, and the fag just sits there so I said f*ck it and cut around him and made the turn before the light, then I hear whoop whoop.....F*CK I see the same biatch pullin me over. She must have gotten on the main street as soon as I passed and tried to catch up knowin I have a sports car.....anyway she gave me a reckless ticket. I said "you know you look like one of those girls that no one ever hit on in highschool, and now your handing out tickets to the guys that look like the one's that rejected you," she said she could arrest me for reckless and tow my car if she wanted to so I signed the ticket and rolled out.......anyone know any top notch lawyers in northern virginia....I'd really like to stick it to her.....in the court room with a high powed attorney......Anyways I apologize in advance for my raving post brothers but I had to vent somewhere, and only the cowboy's that ride the poney's could feel my pain.

What he did WAS illegal. Left turn lane is for turning, and if someone in that lane in front of him was stopped, then for him to go around he had to have made a turn from outside the left turn lane, not to mention it's illegal to pass in an intersection, and forcing a yellow when you could have stopped is arguably reckless....AND if you engage in any apperantly wreckless behavior while driving it's guess what....wreckless driving.
I had some douschebag do the same thing to me once, trying to make a left from a cross street with a stop sign onto a busy highway....I apperantly wasn't going fast enough in my Mustang for him in his deisel truck, so he whipped around me on the right, nearly side swiping 2 other cars, at the same time I started my turn....he then forced me to turn tight to avoid getting my car run over by his truck and ran me into oncoming traffic moving 50mph, forcing several other cars to swerve in both east and westbound lanes of traffic to avoid hitting me and him. Amazingly there was no collision, but he nearly caused a 5 car collision right in the middle of a bust highway.
That cop should have arrested him for wreckless endagerment.

1. your are a ****ing dumb ass.
2. what you did was illegal as ****, and you could have caused a big problem if you had hit someone in the lane you cut over into to go around that "fag"

Reckless Driving in Virginia is a serious criminal charge with possible ramifications to one's career, security clearance, and insurance costs. Reckless driving is a Class 1 misdemeanor - in the same classification as a DUI | DWI charge. As stated clearly in the Code of Virginia, the penalty parameters for reckless driving is up to one year in jail, and/or up to $2,500 in fines. Reckless driving also carries the possibility of a suspension of driving privileges for up to 6 months. One should take note that jail sentences and suspensions of license are becoming commonplace due to political pressures and the frequency of fatalities from high speed accidents. Persons in northern Virginia charged with reckless driving should proceed with caution - particularly in the Alexandria District Court, Arlington GDC and Fairfax GDC.
A conviction for reckless driving carries with it six (-6) demerit points as assessed by the DMV in Virginia. The courts in northern Virginia do not control the point issue and judges often state this at the beginning of the Court session.
If you are convicted of reckless driving and you have other convictions on your record including other reckless or speeding charges, you should seek the services of an attorney as there may be administrative action by the DMV upon your conviction. Also, a person with other traffic offenses and/or a negative point rating of the DMV record are often sentenced more harshly than persons with a positive ratings.
Judges love to see drivers with a +5 ratings and often give these drivers lower fines upon conviction of the reckless driving charge if the facts are not egregious. In Fairfax, Alexandria and Arlington, however, Judges usually will not take this action without a motion from either the defendant or defense counsel.

you can get away with some stuff. But even if you are 100% RIGHT, you save the "smarting off" for either court (with lawyer present) or in the comfort of your own home. Smarting off to a cop only brings more headache, cause at that point they will give you **** tickets just to **** your day up. And they can stand up in court even if they are **** cause in Virginia, COPS WORD IS LAW.
Down here around Roanoke, the courst "convict" over 90% of traffic cases based on the cops word alone. And i'm quoting my lawyer i used in a reckless case myself. only...i wasnt at fault, and i got it reduced. But i still got a charge, even tho i was not at fault.
So seriously OP, you're an idiot and just ****ed yourself. Especially with VA's new (unconstitutional) traffic violation laws.

I'm glad no one is giving him sympathy and bashing cops.. my Dad is a VA State Police and you wouldn't be surprised by the idiots he comes across.
