I'll admitt that I'm not sure how affective UDPs are on 4.0s, but I highly doubt they'll get 16whp from an underdrive pulley.

with only a pulley? they must have had at least a tune loaded. i'm saying this based off the many members who have installed UDP's and seen only small gains.

This was a 4.0 with a tune actually, with a single pulley. I dont know the ratio, but was quite impressed at the results.

If that figure were to the wheels, I guess total crank= 24hp,18lb trq.

Thats good for a tune and pulley swap on the 4.0 V-6[8D]

Steeda gets 8-10 rwhp in their claims

i guess its ok. you can get the same gains with a single GT takeoff muff + tune.

This is a good mod if you have already done everything else...but don't expect any BIG gains (3-6 HP).

I will have a cheaper pulley for sale VERY soon which is the PHP alternator pulley. It goes for around 160 and is MUCH easier to instale (2-4 HP gain).

So would this be a pointless purchase if i only have a dual exhaust right now?
