my shop teacher in high school used to tell us not to f with the air hoses cause this could happen. he made us turn down the pressure when we dusted off too...
Many over the counter meds like Tylenol and Advil can destroy the liver easily if you take too much, take them with alcohol, or take them with certain other meds. And I've seen people who really did try to blow their head off with a gun and not succeed. Despite having blown 1/3 of their skull off they remarkably survive if no vital portion of the CNS is destroyed. Some of them even remain conscious and quite regretful of trying to kill themselves.
