RE: Painting the X-Charger...
The only tricky part for me was figuring out how I wanted to tape off the bypass valve. Some people have put it all together and then painted. I masked each part, incluing the open ends that would match up with gaskets, and painted prior to assembly. I did have the fittings in the inlet elbow because I wanted them to be black.
