RE: porter cable? - 4/17/2008 4:38:03 AM    Cooter Posts: 549 Joined: 1/29/2006 Status: offline I think you'd have a 100% greater chance of damaging your paint by actually dropping the PC on your car than causing any damage with it by using it appropriately. It can be done with an agressive pad and agressive compound at speed 6 for a long time but good luck doing that. Thats what makes it such a great tool. Lowes discountinued carrying the pc (7336, same as 7424 but different counterweight). Get a package deal with pads and backing plate.
