Hey...leave the guy alone! I think it looks great man. And its his car...let him do what he thinks looks good. It doesn't matter what ya'll think anyways haha. And SSStang...how much HP did that body kit add to your car? Or how about those aftermarket wheels? The little fog lights in the bumper? Be nice guys...he just spent a grand making his car look great!

Not nearly as much as the vortech....

But I can justify spending 1k on a full kit vs a 8x8 plastic thingy that shakes!!!!

Oh stfu man, all you ever say is **** that doesnt justify to your likings or qualifys to your needs. So if you wanna be an ass, go some where else because all your doing is making yourself look like a dick like you always do if. All i ever see from you is negative posts or remarks. Dont like what i have to say about you? I dont really care. EDITED: And just so you know its not a 8x8 plastic thing that moves its actually steel, just throughing that out there. Im pretty sure if it was plastic youd see a hunk/glob of black piece of crap moving since it sits on the engine.

cbgammel05, Thanks man. :]

Wow, no need to get so defensive kid. You do know that he was being sarcastic on the last post he made on page2, right? Also, he was referring to the applique being plastic (which it is) and actually your shaker is made out of aluminum, not steel.

actually its aluminum..not steel

it does look good, but for $1000.00 you could easilly have had the real hood and shaker.

Yea thats the only through off but i like the look for some reason.

There painted on too, not vinyl. I asked about vinyl and i was told worst way to go so i actually had them painted on.

Weird, I Was Told The Opposite! I ended up Putting Vinyl On My Car And It Looks Great!

But I am Def Jealous! I Love The Shaker! And Good Call With Not GOing Black! It Would Of Killed The Whole White Stripe Deal You Got GOing On!

I wonder if I should really care about making myself look like a "dick"....  You post on a forum, you get opinions, and you go on about life. Do you think I throw a fit everytime somebody says the don't like my body kit? Hell no, but its picked up its fair share of nice comments in person, and brough me home trophies and plaques ..... so some people don't like it no reason to throw a fit.

did i say anything about your body kit? no. I said all you do is post negative comments about stuff wether it looks good or not. I know i posted the forum for a reason and it sure as hell wasnt so you could go on about you being an ass. And i never through a fit, i made a broad statement about whats true, you post just to be an ass. Plain and simple.

I post to give an opinion.

See the car I posted? The silver one, that looks good. Your car however with the cheap looking cdc applique(sp?) does not.

Walk up to just out of the blue, No however....
If somebody said "hey what do you think about this" I would tell them what I thought. Same rule in forum, you pot on forum for OPINIONS and you get one. I've seen s/c kits for our cars go for 800$ more than what he paid for that shaker.... nitrous kits are only half of what he paid

Don't worry about VCS man, just look at his body kit and you'll realise this guy has no taste. So what if it's supercharged, it looks like a goddamn honda. His wing looks like the sh!t the santa clause sat on at the mall this past christmas.

And dude, VCS, you do realise most car shows are based primarily on just how much sh!t is done to the car, not how nice it looks right? Fock your trophies.

My comments have nothing to do with taste, the cdc applique and my body kit rate about the same on the general "opinon" list.  I mean 1000$ wasted on that, I would have just bought this: http://v6power.net/vb/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=37247

I could get rid of my body kit right now if I really wanted but, I don't feel like paying for the new one to be pained.

Oh however I didn't ask for opinions on my body kit, he asked for opinions on his shaker hood.

Well, as with every thread here in the sixxer section, has to turn to the dark side.  I personally like the shaker setup, but for the money, I say hell no, but that's me.  You can't post up pictures of your ride and expect everyone to love it, it's just NOT going to happen.  I think it would look better without the stripes, but it's not my car, it's YOURS!!  There is no reason to result in a text battle over your personal car, we all have our likings and justify spending money on the things we want or need.  Hell, I think VSS is a dick most of the time too, but for the most part, he's pretty knowledgeable, and helps out with meaningful info.  He can't help the fact that he's young, arrogant, and cocky, I was too at his age.  I will tell you, VSS and I have battled it out before, but it's water under the bridge.  It means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!
