Honest opinion:

its a huge waste (1)
its horrible looking w/o the mach 1 hood (2)

Theirs only 1 v6 that I like with that shaker...

Edit:
I think it would have been better off with lowering spring, and white bullits... I do like the red/white stripe theme you have going.

I'd like it better if it was an actual Mach1 hood. The CDC piece just looks cheap IMO.

Thanks, i would of got with a Mach1 Hood BUUUTTTT, it would of costed me more then i was wanting to spend on something that doesnt do much of a gain of HP in the first place. I was more then i wanted to spend the way it is right now but i like it as it is. It costed me roughly around a grand total for the whole thing. Meaning finding a good deal on the kit which i did brandnew for $650 which the kit goes for 800. Then took it to get painted and cut out and all for another 400. So i dont even wanna imagine what id cost for a new hood, getting it painted and with stripes. lol.  But thanks for all the comments.

You do realize that the shaker doesn't add any HP at all right?

Yes i know it doesnt add anything. I bought it because i wanted it, i wanted a real functional scoop and not a GT Scoop like most people would go. It was my project to work on and i know im not going to have the car for 2 more years so i figured id slap something on that would make it unique compared to all the other v6s around here.

is the shaker actually hooked up to anything, or is it 100% cosmetic?

...i mean not like it really does much of anything for the machs anyway...

Q: what is the real function of the shaker....
A: to sell it to old men who wanna try to bring back their child hood days with a mach 1
