Alright, I was thinking about death and people who kill themselves today.

I'm not talking about the other ways you can kill yourself, just one.

Could you ever put a gun to your head and simply pull the trigger?

Even if I was suicidal, there is no way I have the balls for that, nooo way. I love life as it is, I just wanted to get other people thoughts on this grim subject.

I think I would have to be in an altered state.  That being said, it would have to be a 357 Magnum or similar hand-cannon, and in my mouth aimed upward.  I wouldn't want to take any chances of putting myself in a coma or just moving my facial features a few inches to one side.

Suicide is for cowards.  If things got that bad, it would be me, the dog, the Mustang and Mexico.

I couldn't do it. Noooo way. BUT, if I ever were going to off myself, that is how I would do it. Other things aren't fool proof. Who wants to try jumping off a bridge and just getting ****ed up and humiliated?? Haha.

Jumping off a bridge, building, or cliff really isn't a logical way of killing yourself. I'd bet if you jump off a 1000 foot building, less than 100 feet into flight you're gonna realize how much you'd rather live...sucks for you

Taking pills or cutting or anthing else like that doesn't always work. Chances are you can just mess yourself up and have to go to the hospital. If you are going to do it, go for the win. Don't take any chances. That's how I see it.

But I think the main thing that keeps alot of people from doing it isn't really fear of actually killing themselves, but fear of what happens afterwards.

Exactly, that was the second part of my post that I didn't want to post, lol

People who kill themselves must believe that nothing is better than their existence right now, a point I have a hard time understanding. Others must feel they're going to go on to a better place, aka heaven. I think people who don't follow through are afraid of that nothingness

My dad knows somebody who tried to kill himself, blew his face right off.  That's what I'm scared of most.  Not killing yourself.  If you can't even kill yourself, you must really really suck at life.

Actually I believe religious people don't do it because they are taught they will go to Hell if they do. So I think the fear of burning for eternity keeps them alive. People that do it, do it because they feel like they can't cope with everything. So they think that anything at all would have to be better. The fear of nothingness is also something that keeps people from it, but then again I think people that are really serious about it would prefer nothingness over all of the stuff causing them to feel that way in the first place.

Not sure which way I'd do it.
So many ways to die...

I would make sure to take a few @ssholes with me though.
Like OJ, Jane Fonda etc...
